| Created in 1944 when ventilation problems in mines were becoming increasingly complex, the Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa has steadily grown over the years. It now boasts over 700 members throughout the world with another 150 individuals or institutions subscribing to the journal which is sent to as many as 36 countries. |
