Gas Detectors I
In order to get 100%, you must answer all of the following correctly.
1. Over-range conditions for all gases will clear automatically when the gas concentration has decreased to a level within the display range of the instrument.

2. When the battery has insufficient charge to operate the instrument, the instrument emits a short beep every 15 seconds and the battery indicator will be replaced by a flashing “B” on the display.

3. Calibration will be most accurate when the instrument has been in a stable temperature environment for at least one hour prior to calibrating.

4. Instrument settings, including alarm values, calibration gas concentrations and security code, may be accessed and changed anytime the instrument is on.

5. When installing the combustible sensor, alignment of the sensor does not matter as long as the pins are securely fitted into the slots.

6. Oxygen deficient atmospheres may cause readings of combustible (methane) gas ____________ than actual concentrations.

7. A fully charged (nickel-cadmium) battery pack will operate a four-gas configured TMX-412 for up to ______________ hours.

8. When the battery is fully discharged, ______________.

9. When a monitored gas concentration reaches the low level alarm setpoint, __________________.

10. With the exception of ______________ gas over-range, all over-range conditions will clear automatically when the gas concentration has decreased to a level within the display range of the instrument.
